Free-Antivirus

Hello again my very precious readers, Let me start wishing you very happy Christmas and New year and I hope it will bring more technology alive to your life. On a good no of feedback I am reviewing the best of the best free anti-virus software avialable in the market to secure your PC. I know some of you are already using one of these following but for unknowns the list will be helpful. Personally I will reccomend every internet user to use Norton anti-virus or other product by Symentec(remember this product is not free) for best security.

Let me now list these best anti-viruses you can use for free for good results:

  1. Avast : Avast is seen as a good anti-virus due to its simplicity and ease of use. In addition to the normal protection, I find the P2P and IM shield to be a great feature of this client. However, there is one negative point that, you will have to consume the time to register it in order to keep using it. This registration is free, but it does take time. If you are lazy you should think about AVG free the next listing.

  2. AVG Free: AVG Free is probably the most used free antivirus software out there. It provides great antivirus and antispyware protection, and it also uses Safe Search which helps protect you from those bad webpages that can sometimes come up in your search results. This antivirus is lightweight and doesn’t slows down pc that’s why it is most popular in India.

  3. PC Tools free Antivirus: This is free and have almost all features in it’s paid ver. this antivirus is good because it also comes from popular PC Tools company as I think.
  4. Anti VIR: Anti Vir has been gaining a lot of support from the techies around the Internet. I believe the basis from this comes from great protection with the ability to scan up faster than other products.
  5. Comodo: Comodo provides a very basic antivirus software that is easy to use. It also has an extremely small memory footprint, so you can actually do other things while it is running on your computer.
